What's the best choice...You decide

We realize you have many choices when deciding where shop for your gardening projects and other services; of course, there are other nurseries around Boise as well as several large box stores and most nurseries will have a few knowledgeable staff members as well as those who may be in training.  The box stores likely will have no one with any real experience regarding plants and gardening products but will have good prices, giving you the option of deciding where and how to invest in your landscaping project.  Last year, I found one box store that was selling a large expensive plant that truly will not grow in our area and I watched as several folks purchased the plant because of its price, hoping that these people kept their receipts when the plant died during the winter. 

When you do business with a garden center/nursery that’s been here for quite some time, at least you’re going to get great advice and someone who knows and understands our climate and growing conditions.  And if they don’t know, hopefully they will turn to someone there that knows the growing/problems found in our area of the country. 

One thing you can be certain of is that being a small family-run business such as The Home & Garden Store, you are working with someone who cares about you and your garden and will give you the best advice possible.   Even if we don’t have the product on hand, we will guide you to someone who has the product in stock or that can get it for you.  Another great value in working with a small business such as ours is that we are not bound by corporate regulations.  We hope that you find us giving you, our customer, a more personal experience in your garden center/nursery decisions.  It’s always been our goal to build a long-term relationship with you and the products we sell are products that we use in our own homes.
